Flag Features
Since 1898, our outdoor American Flags are manufactured in STRICT accordance with nationally recognized high standards; from materials which give maximum durability.
There’s a reason why so many of our American flags are flown in and around our nation’s capital, the pentagon, and all 50 States. It’s because our flag’s top quality construction is more durable and lasts longer than the lesser quality American flags that flood the flag market these days. Each individual part of our American made flags are taken into consideration. Over the years, we have found that all these extra details are what is necessary to produce a longer flag life and gives a much more attractive appearance to our American flags.
Embroidered Stars
10′ X 15′ and smaller American flags come standard with embroidered white stars.
Appliqued Stars
10′ X 19′ and larger American flags have opaque white nylon stars with zig-zag stitching throughout.
Rope Thimble
8′ X 12′ and larger American flags include plated steel rope thimbles. Thimbles are attached to white rope using a triple crimped rope sleeve. The length of the rope is sewn into the header to stabilize its position and prevent bunching.
Corner Patches
10′ X 15′ and larger American flags include a 2-ply corner patch sewn into each header corner.
Grommets
All grommets are solid brass. Grommets are spaced evenly throughout the length of the header. 12′ X 18′ American flags have #1 grommets and 16′ X 24′ and larger American flags have #2 grommets.
Grommet Reinforcement
8′ X 12′ and larger flags include a heavy-duty plastic reinforcement sleeve at each grommet location.
Headers
All headers are made with a heavy-duty, white cotton-polyester blend army duck cloth.
